 Facilities designated as "boat-in" means the primary access is over water in a boat - and generally the lodge has no road access - except to the boat landing of course. If you're bringing your own boat, you can boat right to the lodge or resort. If you are renting a boat from your outfitter, they'll pick you up at their landing. Enjoy fishing or hunting at these remote lodges - many of which are located on islands. Imagine the seclusion of a resort with no roads leading to it. Campfire Island is located relatively near to Fort Frances, Ontario...in the heart of the world-class smallmouth bass and trophy northern pike fishing.
